Where can employee find deductions under section 80G?

An employee can view deductions under section 80G under Other Chapter VI-A Deductions in the ESS portal.

To view Other Chapter VI-A Deductions, the employee must perform the following actions:

1. From the greytHR ESS portal, navigate to Salary > IT Declaration. The IT Declaration page opens.
2. If you are declaring IT for the first time, click Start now. Click Edit to modify your IT details if you have already declared IT.
3. In the Edit Form page, click the Edit icon available on the Other Chapter VI-A Deductions card. The  Other Chapter VI-A Deductions pop-up appears.
4. Enter the required amount in the 80G Donation - 50% Exemption text box.
5. Click Update. A success message appears.
