If the admin enters the leave accrual date as per the joining date then an error occurs. In the greytHR application system, leave accrues based on the Leave Accrual category effective date.
So, the admin must ensure to update leave accrual effective date from 3 months of the joining date and not as per the joining date of an employee.
To update the leave accrual effective date, the admin must perform the following actions:
- From the greytHR Admin login, navigate to Employee > Information > Position History. The Position History page opens.
- In the Search Employee search box, enter the employee name/number for whom you want to update the leave accrual date. The page displays the categories.
- Select the Leave Accrual category card and click the Edit icon available on the card.
- From the Effective From dropdown calendar, select the required date.
Note: The Leave Accrual effective date must be 3 months from the joining date of the employee. - Click Save to update the changes. A success message appears.
