How can admin generate a permissions report?

The Permissions module allows the employees to request for advance permission before stepping out. The admin can generate a permissions report from the greytHR Query Builder page.
To generate a Permissions reports using Query Builder, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin login, navigate to Reports > Query Builder. The Query Builder page opens.
  2. Click + Create Report. The CHOOSE FIELD section appears.
  3. Under Available Fields, from the Select Category dropdown list, select Basic Information.
  4. Click the ➡ arrow to move the categories such as Employee name and Employee ID to Output Fields.
  5. From the Select Category dropdown list, select Attendance Info.
  6. Click the ➡ arrow to move the categories such as Employee name and Employee ID  to Output Fields.
    Note: It is recommended to incorporate the Basic Information and Attendance Info categories for the permissions data to reflect in the report.
  7. From the Select Category dropdown list, select Permission Info.
  8. Click the ➡ arrow to move the categories such as Permission Type, Applied By, and Applied On.
  9. Click Next. The SORT ORDER section appears.
  10. Select the category from the Output Fields and click the ➡ arrow to move the category to Sorting Order.
  11. Click Next. The FILTER CRITERIA section appears.
    Note: Select the criteria such as Location, Level, and Designation as per your requirements
  12. Under the Quick tab, from the Category Type dropdown list, filter the required category.
  13. Click the ➡ arrow to move the filtered category to the next column.
  14. Click Next. The RESULT section appears.
  15. In the RESULT section, in the Report Title text box, enter the title of the report.
  16. In the Description box, enter the description of the report.
  17. From the Employee Filter dropdown list, filter the employees.
  18. Select Accessible for all users/Select users to allow them edit the report as per your requirement.
  19. Click Export to download the report.
  20. Click Save Report to save the customized permissions report.
