To override income tax values, perform the following actions:
- Navigate to Payroll > Payroll Inputs > Salary. The Salary page opens..
- On the Salary page, from the select an employee... search box, search for an employee.
- In the Item list of components, under NET PAY > TOTAL DEDUCTIONS > INCOME TAX, click the Override icon.
Note: Override icon is next to the Edit icon.
- Override pop-up appears. Click Add.
- Fill in all the required details. Click Save to update the income tax values.
- On the Salary page, click Process to view the updated component value.
Note: You must process the salary of the selected employee to view the updated value in the salary structure.
