To update an employee's additional provident fund contribution, perform the following actions:
- Navigate to Payroll > Payroll Inputs > Salary. The Salary page opens.
- From the Search Employee search box, select the employee whose additional provident fund you want to update. Employee's salary details displays.
- In the Component Name table, navigate to Total Deductions > VPF, click the Edit icon. Edit VPF pop-up appears.
- Click +Add row. An additional row is added to the table.
- In the table, under the From Date column, add the date from which the updated amount is applicable.
- Under the Amount column, add the updated amount.
- Click Save to update the employee's additional provident fund contribution. The updated amount in VPF is carry forwarded to the next month.
