How can the admin exclude an employee from the Full & Final settlement process?

To exclude an employee from the full and final settlement process, you can update the workdays of the resigned employees as zero. To update the working days of an employee as zero, perform the following actions:

1. From your greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Payroll > Payroll Inputs > Final Settlement. The Final Settlement page opens.
2. Click Settle Employee. Step 1: Employee section appears.
3. Select the option Search Employee. From the Search by Emp No/ Name search box, search for an employee to update his/her working days.
4. Click Next. Step 2: Resignation Details section appears.
5. From the Resignation Submitted On dropdown calendar, select the resignation date.
6. From the Leaving Date dropdown calendar, select the leaving date.
7. From the Leaving Reason dropdown list, select the appropriate reason.
8. From the Settlement Date dropdown calendar, select the required date.
9. Click Next. Step 3: Notice Pay section appears.
10. Select the checkbox available next to Notice Period.
11. Enter the Notice period, No of Days Served, Excess in Notice in the textbox.
12. Click Next. Step 4: Work Days section appears.
13. Enter the number of days worked by the employee as zero.
14. Click Next. Step 5: Leave Encashment section appears.
15. In the Days Worked textbox, enter the working days as zero.
16. Click Next. Step 6: Remarks section appears.
17. In the Remarks description box, enter your remarks, if any.
18. Click Finish to update the working days of the employee.
