Maintaining promotion details of employees helps employers manage their workforce and make informed decisions related to job assignments, promotions, and succession planning.
To update an employee’s promotion details on greytHR, the admin must perform the following actions:
- From the greytHR Admin login, navigate to Employee > Information > Position History. The Position History page opens.
- From the Search by Emp No/ Name search box, search for the employee whose promotion details you want to update in the application.
- In the Designation, click Add. The form appears.
- From the Category dropdown list, select the required category.
- From the Effective From and Effective To dropdown calendar, select the required dates.
- Click Save to update the promotion details of an employee.
