If the employee attendance information is showing absent for the whole month, the reason could be the Employee Swipes are not available in the Biometric Database.
Resolution: If the swipes are not available in the biometric database, you need to contact your Biometric vendor to fix the issue. Once the swipe details are available on the employee swipe page on greytHR, you need to manually process your employees' attendance by navigating to the process attendance tab from the leave >> admin section. Select the dates, then click on the process. Kindly note that the automatic attendance process setup on greytHR will take care of the attendance process only for the previous day; for the backdated attendance process, you need to process the attendance by manually following the manual method.
You can process attendance in greytHR for changes to data on a date that is past to the current date. Attendance processing is possible for all or only select employees. After processing, you can view the updated details in Attendance Info, Shift Roster and Attendance Muster, and related reports.
- Navigate to Leave > Admin > Process Attendance page.
- Click on Process Attendance
Select desired date, select the employees from the list and click on Process
Please note: Attendance automatically processes for current and future dates. Manual processing is required if you enter a date in the past.
To Process the Attendance for All Employees
Select the From and To dates for processing attendance and click the All Employees option then click on Process.
- The attendance processes and the attendance processed message is displayed.
- The attendance processed details are displayed on the Process Attendance page.
