You may get the error message on the Attendance Info page, Employee is not assigned to any attendance scheme/shift, if an employee is not aligned to a shift or attendance scheme. To assign a shift or an attendance scheme to an employee, perform the following actions:
- Navigate to Employee > Information > Position History. The Position History page opens.
- From the Search Employee search box, select the employee to whom you want to assign the shift or attendance scheme.
- Click the Add / Edit icon next to the Attendance scheme / Shift category.
- Fill in all the details. Click Save to assign the attendance scheme/shift to the selected employee.
