Tax deductions are typically calculated based on an individual's total income and expenses for the entire tax year, rather than on a monthly basis. Deductions are claimed when filing annual tax returns, and they are applied to the overall income earned during the tax year.
To view the marginal tax deductions for a particular month, admin can download the IT Worksheet report.
To generate an Income Tax Worksheet report, the admin must perform the following actions:
- From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Reports > Reports > Reports Gallery. The Reports Gallery page opens.
- In the search box, enter Income Tax Worksheet. The Income Tax Worksheet form opens.
- Select All Employees/Selected Employees as per your requirement.
- Click Options to customize the report.
- From the Employee Category dropdown list, select the required category.
- Select Show Resigned Employees, if applicable.
- From the Report Output Type dropdown list, select the type of output of the report.
- Click Save to save the customizations.
- Click Generate to generate the Income Tax Worksheet.
