Processing the leave year-end manually refers to managing and adjusting employee leave balances at the end of a specific period, typically the calendar year, without the use of automated software or systems.
To perform leave year end (LYE) manually, the admin must perform the following actions:
- From the greytHR Admin Home page, you can view the Time for Leave Year End Process 2021 banner.
- Select option No, I prefer to do it manually.
- Click Submit.
- Click Perform Leave Year End. The Leave Overview page opens.
Alternatively, you can also navigate to Leave > Main > Leave Overview. - A LYE banner displays on the Leave Overview page. On the banner, click Leave year end process is scheduled. Leave Year End pop-up appears.
- Click Confirm to process leave year-end.
After processing leave year-end, you can download the following reports on the banner.
- Leave year wise summary report
- Pending leave employees report
Note: The Leave Year End process does not end here. To complete the remaining LYE process, you must finish the rest of the action items provided on the banner.
