Form 16 is an important document issued under the Income Tax Act of India. It is a certificate provided by employers to their employees that serves as proof of income earned and tax deductions made during a specific financial year.
Form 16 is the TDS certificate that an employer issues to an employee. The admin cannot sign Form 16 digitally, if the employee ID contains a special character such as (/). The admin must remove the special characters from the employee ID to sign Form 16.
