Cost to Company (CTC) represents the total cost incurred by a company to employ a person, encompassing salary, allowances, bonuses, benefits, and contributions, offering a comprehensive view of the monetary value tied to hiring and retaining an employee.
To map the CTC value with the CTC items components, the admin must perform the following actions:
- From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Payroll > Setup > Payroll Repository. The Payroll Repository page opens.
- In the components table, navigate to Calculation Fields > CTC Items > Monthly CTC/Annual CTC.

On the right side of the screen, under the General Properties tab, from the CTC Group dropdown list, select CTC.
Note: The CTC value can be mapped only with one component at a time. - Click Save Changes to map the CTC value with the CTC items components.
